STUF’s engagement with the UN includes: 

• UNGC (United Nations Global Compact) member since 2010; 
• Special Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC since 2016; 
• observer status at UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) since 2023; 
• observer status at UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) since 2024;
• member of Global Health Council since 2024

Since 2017, STUF has hosted numerous side events during the UN HLPF (United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development) in New York, organized global forum at the World Health Assembly (WHA) in Geneva since 2023, and participated in the United Nations Climate Change Conferences (UNFCCC COP) also since 2023.

STUF United Fund launched the UN Go! Project in 2023. The project

• organizes workshops, forums, galas to promote UN mission and UN Sustainable Development Goals
• offer internship opportunities for young people to join UN related activities and to participate in STUF United Fund administration work and charity projects such as SDG Small Grant Program
