STUF United Fund, in collaboration with Fundacion Para LA Salud Los Angeles Paraguay-China, delivered and donated 336 wheelchairs to 14 provinces of Paraguay in 2016. The total cost of delivered wheelchairs to Paraguay is about $150 USD, yet the average monthly income for Paraguayans is $350 USD. This is an unbearable burden for low-income families. The Wheelchairs Program provides much-needed help for handicapped people and their families, and is a very important philanthropic activity for Fundacion Para LA Salud Los Angeles Paraguay-China.
